Week Twenty Eight

Last week we looked at the basics of Mendelian Genetics. This week we will take our studies even deeper and research the complexities of Non-Mendelian Genetics. Toward the end of the week we will also look into advances that have been made in Genetics, including pedigrees, karyotyping, cloning, hybridization, inbreeding, cloning, the human genome project and genetic engineering.

A tentative schedule this week includes
:

Monday - Dihybrid Cross Practice/Ch.3 Essential Questions/Begin discussion on Non-Mendelian Genetics
Tuesday - EARLY RELEASE/Non-Mendelian Genetics Powerpoint
Wednesday - 4.1 and 4.2 Worksheet/Pedigrees/Mutations and Genetic Disorder Chart
Thursday - Karyotyping Activity/Cloning Article and On-line Activity
Friday - Continue with Advances in Genetics Videos, Articles, and On-line Activities
