Week Eighteen

It's hard to believe we are almost finished with our unit on cells. On Tuesday we will complete the unit with a quiz over Cell Reproduction. Just because we've completed the cell unit, don't think you can forget all that wonderful information you've learned...You will see it again soon! At the end of this week we will move into our first chapter of human body study. We will begin with the skeletal and muscular systems, which are covered in chapter 15 of the textbook.

A tentative schedule this week includes
:

Monday - Review for Cell Reproduction Quiz
Tuesday - Cell Reproduction Quiz
Wednesday - Reading and 4-Tab book
Thursday - Learning about the Skeletal System
Friday - Special Guest Teaching of Power Note Taking

Homework this week includes:

Week Fifteen

So far you have learned about what makes up a cell, all the parts of a cell, how a cell functions, how a cell brings in nutrients and releases wastes, how a cell gets gets energy and how some cells make their own food. What else is left to learn about cells?? REPRODUCTION, how does a cell make new cells? It all starts with the DNA! So this week we will take a closer look into the structure and function of DNA.
A tentative schedule this week includes:

Monday - Making DNA Lab
Tuesday - DNA Computer Lab
Wednesday - No School
Thursday - No School
Friday - No School

Homework this week includes:
